In the last 4 or 5 days my analytics has stopped remember the date range I set it to and everytime I click onto REAL-TIME and then back into any other section it resets to "Custom Range" of the past 7 days. I usually set it to Today as I find that most useful day to day and change to others as needed but everytime after a realtime visit it resets. It never used to do that.

Not the end of the world but a bit annoying

Got to ask ... what analytics? If g, clear your browser cache, delete your cookies, nuke the LSOs, shut browser down, restart your computer, then log back in. All too often folks keep their browsers running 24/7 and data can become corrupted. Easiest way to test that possibility. Not saying it will fix it, but will certainly eliminate the possiblity.

sorry - google analytics . Behaviour is exactly same after clearing cookies, trying in other browsers, private mode etc, on different computers , windows, linux etc etc - it seems to be a change in behaviour in google analytics itself

I see it now that you mention it, but never knew it to be different (or otherwise).

Maybe just keep the Real-Time report open in another tab.

Or send feedback (question mark top right) and hope for the best ;-)

yeah its not huge issue or anything and maybe the tab idea is a good one - or could just keep live open on my ipad or another device . Just something I noticed because it effects the way I work.
I gave up sending anything into the google feedback blackhole some time ago :-)
