Semrush reporting huge spike in traffic

Since January of 2018, my websites traffic spikes from 20k to 850k (semrush) for a couple of keywords. Problem is, this metric does not reflect on my web host stats, awstats, and adsense pageviews. Why does semrush reporting such huge increase in traffic? Is there something I need to worry about?

Because semrush is not Google. It simply makes a guess as to what it thinks things should be, and it is often wrong. The problem is that there is no other source for this type of information and so it is impossible to validate whether or not the information provided is wrong except for the in the most extreme situation like what you are seeing now.
