Hi,

I was just curious to see if any other e-commerce have issues with conversion for this particular browser in analytics. I just wanted to see if it's an isolated issue.

Hi Cocoweb and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

Android 4.0 (ICE_CREAM_SANDWICH) is a mobile platform. The native browser is Chrome.

AFAIK if you're seeing "Android Browser 4.0 " in your logs or stats report, then it is either a 3rd party mobile app/browser incorrectly identifying itself or your report is misrepresenting the UA (or you are misreading the info.)

Can you post a raw log snippet where you've seen this UA?

Hello,

Sorry I didn't realize I received an answer to my question. Basically going through Acquisition > All Traffic Channels > Primary Dimension > Browser Version. I already know it's from Android Browser thus is is where I dug deeper to the 4.0

I've currently chalked it up to visitors who are still hanging onto these ancient devices are having poor user experience due to how slow browsing must be. I went and got a test device and nearly every page took 5 seconds to load.
