A shorter [2015] list than the 2011 one above but only one duplicate https://www.webmasterworld.com/google/4729653.htm [webmasterworld.com]

A 2013 list with low amount of duplicates https://www.webmasterworld.com/google/4616594.htm [webmasterworld.com]

I agree with @NetgainsTech here. When it comes to finding broken links on a site you've got full access to; Google Search Console is a good tool.
Another one would be Screaming Frog, where the free version works just fine for smaller sites, where as the paid version will be needed for somewhat bigger sites.
Deepcrawl is another way to go. But the two latter tools will give you much more information than just broken links, where GSC will work just fine.

A note though: It will not show you broken links on pages where Googlebot isn't welcomed to due to robots.txt rules or if the page has some sort of authentication process.

There are many tools out there which help us to find broken links on the site.
I’d like to recommend:
Google Webmaster
Ahref
Screaming Frog
Broken link checker
