tools for monitoring competitor sites

I'm looking into SImilar Site as a tool to analyze competitor sites' SEO strategy but the cost is too high. Are their any free or inexpensive programs that will do the job? I need to jump start SEO and figure p can provide useful tips.

Mix Panel is more focused on visitor behavior. Anyone use either of these tools or recommend equivalents? Thanks.

I don't know if this site will help you analize strategy but it can show you changes that have been occuring during years. You will be able to check any redirections, statistics and google page rank of your competitor. [timer4web.com...] It's may be useful tool for you :) good luck!

If you are running Firefox, you can add a browser tool that does this for free.

You also agree to give up all your browsing info, who you are (they say anonymized but we know how anonymous that truly is), and give them more info for their data collection.

You will, of course, do this with any other tool or service out there offering the same product/set of results.
