A merchant could use Analytics for affiliates in this way:
1) Control the referrer channels of the sells trough analytics
2) Share with affiliates/channels only the sells that are coming from these affiliates/channels.
Where I can find a guide to complete these 2 steps?

On 2), most tracking systems have a receipt page script that fires live with the sale, to pump them partial data, is to ask them to redesign their tracking systems, not to mention change the way attribution works in their ecosystem (which has tech issues to resolve, as well as terms and conditions). Most aren't open to this.

Likely easier to track the value of your affiliates in their system, but also set up Analytics to view their traffic within all channels (in Analytics), then decide to ditch low-value affiliates, or to improvise systems acceptable to your affiliate network partner, so that you pay for the value you desire.

In any case, it all starts with lengthy studies of your #1.

Because each affiliate tracking system is different, I doubt you can find a complete guide.

Most affiliate networks allow you to append an identifying parameter to the inbound, redirected visitors - parse this parameter within a custom Analytics view (separate from your regular view and backup master view), to see if you can have reporting that shows each affiliate as a separate referrer (or other unique trait) that you can then split out within Analytics to do value studies, per affiliate.

We do this often, but don't know of any published guide - the tracking setup is different each time, but a good Analytics analyst should be able to help you. The bigger question is the follow-on determination of value, surely a decision tree unique to your enterprise.
