I'm trying to figure out out how GA shows Ecommerce Conversion Rate. The report I'm exporting is broken down by Date, Day of Week Name, Hour and Default Channel Grouping. When I open the csv in excel I can see the total conversion rate, yet when I average up all the rows I get a smaller percentage. Ultimately, I want to use this data in a PivotTable.

Is there a trick to handling GA's conversion data? Any help is greatly appreciated!

How are you doing "average up all the rows"?

If you're just averaging the CR, each row is a different size (it's an average itself). Averaging the averages ignores the size differences. Instead, add up the total clicks and total sales, then divide.

Thank you, I ended up doing that exactly!
