google analytics not showing returning visitor

Hi,
since some days,
when I am on google analytics - Real time - Overview,
I can see if the person are on desktop, mobile or tablet.......
before new visitors and returning visitors were shown,
wich is more interesting.
This has been reported by many in google forum since january, so suppose does not happens to everybody, but no response, and nobody know how to fix this.
Any ideas?

I am not totally sure I understand your question. What can you not see now that you could see before?

In Google analytics, in real time - overview, before the visitors where shown and on the left you could see a blue and green bar showing amount of returning visitors and new visitors.
Nos instead of that, the bars (3 colors) shows if person use desktop, movile or tablet.

OK. I see New vs Returning still in the Audience > Overview tab, but not in Real time. I do not recall if they ever DID show new vs returning in real time, but I would imagine that the reason it is not there is to maintain speed and scale for Google. To know whether a visitor is new or returning requires an extra datapoint look up every time a page loads for a visitor and because Google is trying to deliver this data in real time, it would need a lot more processing power and would still not necessarily work when sites get busy.

This need for speed is not so critical in the audience tab, because the data does not need to be processed instantly, therefore Google may find it easier to give this returning visitor detail.

That's my guess, anyway.
