GA Links to Secure Pages Not Being Tracked

Seeing no data given for clicks on the link to our shopping gateway - which is secure and on a different domain.

And yes we have tested it by actually getting people to click on the link - the In-Page analytics just seems to ignore the link.

Anyone seen similar reporting? - and can it be fixed?

are those requests sending a HTTP Referer header?

Clients SHOULD NOT include a Referer header field in a (non-secure) HTTP request if the referring page was transferred with a secure protocol.

The in-page analytics gives data on which links on the page are clicked - as it is javascript tracking code, I'd assumed the data was collected before the client leaves the page.

Not sure why the request sending a header would affect this data.
