Google Analytics clashing with +1 ?

Analytics stopped - dont know, why!

On February 15th our tracking via Analytics stopped. I have not changed that particular code in any way, but we have indeed added some other Javascript, including some social stuff.

I see NO errors in the debugging console, yet it is still not working right. Any ideas? Did they change anything I have missed?

Start taking off the stuff you added, one by one, and see if GA comes back?

Valid suggestion, but my colleague changed his JS library for the on-page stuff... that is a lot of work! I suspect that this is the reason, yet I am puzzled that no error is shown in the debug console... it states: Javascript is fine... I say: no, it is not... hmmmm but you are right, rolling back seems like the only valid solution!

You could save an html page from the browser as is, do modifications to the html and then upload it to the server and see when tracking works again so you don't touch the framework. It may take sometime but you could identify the problem and not waste the whole upgrade.

Invested another round, updated the code and looked for the phony __utm.gif that is called with a bazillion parameters from the google-analytics.com domain... it loads from all the pages we tested.

REAL-TIME is running too, showing hundreds of active visitors on my domain. Yet the visits dashboard is empty... ZERO visits since the 15th of February... VERY strange!
