It sounds like Google took Edward Tufte's advice by applying the technique from his favorite graph, a map Napoleon's march that he described as "probably the best statistical graphic ever drawn." [informationweek.com...]

That will be something really cool. Looking forward to seeing it.
We use Clicktale as well, and my favorite feature are their recordings of how a user moves through the site. Where they come from sometimes dictates how they use the site.

I've been staring at this watching the stats fly by on my client's site, but I haven't yet figured out anything actionable that we weren't already able to discern from the regular analytics.
I must be missing something ...

I don't see it in my stats yet, buckworks. Do you see it under goals or content > navigation summary or?

It's likely not in your account yet.
My client is in the beta. Someone at Google had to authorize our accounts to see the new stats. For a while he could see the new stats but I couldn't.
It's interesting to watch the numbers and graphs stream by, but I'm still trying to figure out what I can learn from it that's actionable.

Flypaper for webmasters..keeps you signed in watching it ..while Google are watching what you are watching..between this and watching adsense stats ..some people are going to have their eyelids glued open and intravenous fluids piped through their mice..
Give webmaster a stat UI and it's like drawing a wiggly line in front of a chicken..angry birds for geeks..time sink..
