Logged in Gogole Analytics->Visitors->Demograhics->Language for a Hungarian language site (.hu domain) shows me statistics from different language codes.

en-us
en
en-gb
en-in
hu
es

es - means that visitors searched on google.es (in Hungarian language)?

What is the difference between en-us and en? I have only 1% visits from US, but en-us is in the top at Languages.

Those are the languages the browser of the visitors to your site says it will accept.
It allows a website to detect what languages a visitor wants and it could then serve up the page in that language.

So no es does not mean they searched on google.es just that their browser accepts Spanish as their first preference.

en-us is the US variant of English, en is English, en-gb is English as in the United Kingdom.

They reason that en-us is the top language is probably that it is the language that is configured by default in some browser and the users doesn't know how to change it.

Search for Browser language or Browser language detection to find further information about this topic.

Thanks!

Is possible to see in Analytics from which google.tld visitors come? (ex 50% from google.com , 30% google.es, 7% google.hu etc).
Search results are different if you are using different TLDs from the same computer.
