I've been tempted for awhile to put the QuantCast coding on my pages for one of my site's.. to have better and more accurate Public stats available out there to Advertisers and the public in general. (instead of the public just relying on Alexa's horrible estimates)

So I did that about a month ago.. (QuantCast)

Glad to see the more accurate stats now, but am wondering why my Adsense CPM's have been steadily dropping during the same time.

From the "October Adsense" thread in the Adsense section it seems like a lot of other webmasters are experiencing the same, so i'm trying not to be too paranoid that implenting this coding screwed everything up.

Just wondering what others think of QuantCast and their general opinions on if it should help or hurt Advertising on our sites over the long haul ?

People might, not me I don't use it. Give it some time, some folks might have been busy the last few days.

I think it would help, if you are selling advertising direct to advertisers. Quantcast justifies the prices you set.

As for declining impressions, you may want to check across all the major browsers to make sure there aren't conflicts between the quantcast and AS codes that is preventing the AS ads from displaying properly.

Check your log file and see if the percentage of decreased AS impressions matches one of the percentage of one of the browser types visiting your site. Then check that browser type if you have it available.
