Message Too Old, No Replies

Customer leaves one site I own for another site I own.

How do I code Google Analytics so it is not counted as a bounce.

I'm using Google Analytics, and trying to get the true bounce rate for the landing page.

From my landing page; call it widget.com, the users can go to my blue widget site or to my red widget site. These are separate domains, not subdomains.

I can go to my blue widget and red widget sites and find the referal count from my landing page; however many people visit both my sites; In fact I get a negative bounce rate, as a lot of vistors are visting both sites (probably via the back button).

Therefore, I can't find out the number of people that are actually abandoning my landing page; without visting my other sites.

When the customer leaves my site for another site I own, I don't want it counted as a bounce. How do I do this?

:: extrapolating from piwik (which does some of the same stuff) ::

Do you have a function that lets you track specific actions, like following a particular link? If so, Option B would be to set up a counter for people who click on the links for "red widgets.com/" or "blue widgets.com/", and subtract those numbers from the "widgets.com/" bounces.

Awright, oldtimers, why does "red widgets" as one word count as cussing?
