Web statistics tool doesn't identify the landing page

Hi, folks!

Why my web statistics tool doesn't identify the landing page when Googlebot visits my site? Does anybody here have a clue?
P.S.: All the pages of my site have the tracking code of the web stats tool onto.

Google spiders (Googlebot) behave like browsers & they usually do not load java script on web pages while crawling them.

Therefore the script of your tracking solution never gets loaded & consequently doesn't detect visits from Googlebot.

Check you server logs for data on visits from search engine spiders. Hope this helps :)
