I'm wondering, is anyone else experiencing misreporting of traffic sources in their analytics? After Thursday my stats are all weird. Same amount of traffic but instead of reporting the normal ~40% from search engines google's now reporting 13.5%...
I own a very high traffic volume site and that discrepancy would mean that just one day thousands of people stopped coming from Google and started coming direct. I'm pretty sure that it's impossible. Actually, I know it's impossible. So what the hell is going on with my stats? I have analytics going back pretty much to the day Google Analytics hit beta and my search engine traffic has never fell below 30%... it's such a drastic change and in such a short period of time that it has to be misreported. ... but WHY?!
