The issue I am experiencing is I waited 24 hours to view the report. After 24 + hours I still was not receiving any Data. I still have the Waiting for Data message next to the websites profile. I reviewed their help section but they do not provide any useful help in regards to my particular issue. I emailed their Support Team and almost 24 hours later they get back to me stating that I added the code properly but since the website has an extensive side navigation menu that uses JavaScript they assumed that it was interfering with the Analytics JavaScript. They recommended I place the code in the Header Tag just after the Meta Tags. I took their advice and moved the code. It has now been 24 + hours since I have moved the code. I still have the same message next to my profile Waiting for Data. I emailed the same person from Google in regards to this issue and they still have not addressed my concern.
Has anyone had the same issue using Google Analytics? If so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
PJ
My feelings are that it has to do with the amount of traffic the site(s) you are measuring recieves. The less traffic that the site recieves, the longer it takes.
Even with minimal traffic, it usually doesn't take more than a week or two before it claims to be recieving data.
I know that some time has elapsed since you posted and I responded, but how did things work out?
Did you have an experience that contradicts mine?

In regards to some of your comments I checked the actual data and nothing was being reported. I then reported this to Google and they investigated the issue and there seemed to be something wrong on their side. The next day I started seeing data but I still had the Waiting for Data message. It took a couple of weeks before the message finally went away.
Thanks again for all of your advice.
