Hi all,
LONG time lurker on this website, but I have not been on in a while.
I have a very quick query that someone may be able to help me with, or point me in the right direction.
It relates to a tracking query on an accommodation website.
So it's a tourism site that also provides info on accommodation in each particular region.
Someone can click on a region, look at where to stay, then click on an accommodation type, be it a hotel, guesthouse and so on.
They cannot book on the site though, it just provides listings.
So, if I wanted to track how many people click on an accommodation type, that would seem straight forward enough - just set up a goal for each accommodation type. (the goal URL). Here is the question though:
Would there be a way of tracking how many people clicked on each individual listing within an accommodation sector?
To me, that would seem to be impossible, as there are 1000s of listings on the site, split into categories of accommodation sector etc.
So, I can track e.g. "Hotels in the South West of France" by setting up a goal to track the URL, but how then can I track how many each hotel that is listed within "hotels in the south west of France" got?
Thanks all...
