Approx How many programmers are working on Google analytics? Just for curiosity :) as they have compiled the UI very nicely. It looks very impressive.

I have been wondering something similar --- a question for those of you who know Urchin and GA --- how much of Urchin did Google actually reprogram or re-design?

I thought I am alone and suffering from acute Googlemania :).

As a free service I can't expect anything better than this, I can certainly expect a little more simplicity.

I have worked on some of the main tracking systems and I know google analytics is missing few imp sections. They have copied (rather researched) the concepts from already existing tracking systems (and there is no harm in learning the exisiting wheel technology). Be it clicktracks or urchin or visitlab or clicklab. I see they have combined all these innovations under one roof and that too for free.

Their interface is really something better than a lot of existing tracking systems, thats the only reason I asked this question :).
