Hi,

first of all, we're not really into webhosting, but rather digital marketing. Now by request from some of our major clients we needed to consolidate more into the offering. We partnered with a professional hosting company providing the server experience and are looking to purchase a WebTrends Enterprise license. Has anybody here any experience with WebTrends Enterprise and if/hor to utilize 1 license for multiple clients. As far I understood from the WebTrends website, the license is sold by pageviews. So you think it is possible to purchase e.g. 20 Mio pageviews and split this lets say into 4 clients?

Any reply much appreciated! Thx in advance.

Go for it. That is exactly what we do and it's entirely legitimate. Everybody wins - 1) we have the ability to analyze the heck out of data because the non-ASP solution allows infinite re-analyses, 2) we can apply discoveries and cool newly-invented custom reports to all our clients, and 3) we can charge really reasonable rates because we buy massive amounts of page views and pass on the discount.

Just make sure you have the hardware to handle it. Take the specs seriously.
