if you're so curious about who's looking at your stuff, make your own website or make your profile private :)

there's probably a reason myspace hasn't released an official "tracker" to date. the amount of abuse / misuse that could come of it would be astounding

I'd agree with that - those myspace profile trackers seem pretty scary to me on either end. As a user, you dont want your profile viewed by undesirables. Yet you also dont want someone to track you or find you just because you landed on someone else's profile (like during a search for a friend...or you just happen to like the pics in that profile...)

No, there isn't a tracker that will tell you who looked at your MySpace profile.

Interestingly, LastFM does allow you to see LastFM users who have viewed your profile on that site - if you take out a paid LastFM subscription.

All of the 'Myspace trackers' I've seen only send you to sites filled with AdSense pages asking you to 'wait 24 hours before it starts to work' - which tells me that the point is to target those who are interested in seeing who's viewed their profile (i.e. everyone) and getting them to click on Adsense links while they wait 24 hrs.

Also, when you sign up for the 'tracker' it only confirms your Myspace ID and shows that you are active, making you more likely to recieve spam / friend requests.

Since I've just edited the above poster, let me help by saying how to answer the question WITHOUT specifics.

I don't use Myspace but the above poster suggests that you can put a snippet of code onto a Myspace page. If that is the case, then you have plenty of choice - most "tag based" systems form the package library thread [webmasterworld.com] should do it, although some of the more elaborate ones also require a .js file to be put on the site, so avoid those.

There - no specifics required. The choice is yours :)

actually, i have found one that works. but only for 30 minutes, then i recieved 2 viruses, and the site has said "page cannot be displayed" ever since it was at <snip>. i wouldnt recommend going there, might end up with a virus, but if anyone can report that site, be my guest
