I need to give a url to several site owners who are going to display my ads, what is the best way to track all of the inbound traffic while having only one landing page?

Hi,

This depends on the analytics package you are using.

If you are using Google Analytics you should use the URL Builder tool [google.com].

I created a custom report that drilled down page, campaign, source/medium and ad content. Works for me!

Is there a way to use the tracking url and rewrite or redirect the url to look cleaner once the visitor is on the page?

http://www.example.com/landingpage.html?utm_source=example-publisher&utm_medium=banner&utm_content=leaderboard&utm_campaign=example-ad-campaign
TO
http://www.example.com/landingpage.html

would mod_rewrite work with this?
