Can I run a report in GA Custom Reports, for a single page, a specific date range, and get daily hourly stats?

Possible?

Only if you create a new profile collecting data for that single page but thats obviously not retrospective. Otherwise, closest you can get to is hourly breakdown of users that visited the single page as part of their navigation journey.

Actually i was able to figure this out.

I went into "Top Content", filtered for a specific page, and went into the advanced filter and got out some query string variables in the URL. So this left me with 3 URLs in the top content list.

Then i set the date range.

Went into custom reports, and created a new report.

Set the Metric to "Pageview" then the first level dimension to "Hour by Day" or whatever variable that is, created the report, and it generated a 24 hour report, by hour, of how many pageviews i had for those 3 variations of that URL.

works perfect.

Hi,

Thanks for the instructions.
Could you clarify how you segmented your Custom report to just those 3 variations of your URL? Or how you applied the report criteria to your filtered top navigation?

Thanks in advance.
