how to istall google analytics code in sub folders and sub domains

Hi friends

I want to install Google analytic on my sub domains and sub-folders and want all the data in only 1 report, for example I have installed Google analytic s on my main website http://www.example.com, now shall I use the same Analytic s code on my subdomain mini.example.com and sub folder http://www.example.com/Example? or have to do anything else?
