Is there a way to track your ppc performance if the vendor does do not have the facility to generate a tracking id?

for example click bank allow u to generate a tracking id to track your performance.

Surely you can define any URL for the PPC vendor - including designing your own tracking ID which can then be utilised by your analytics package to track conversions.
