Do they include subdomains in Google Analytics?

I don't understand one thing: if I have a web site mydomain.com and ALSO I have a forum as a subdirectory:
mydomain.com/forum
then, in Google Analytics if I ONLY mention mydomain.com WITHOUT adding mydomain.com/forum...
would Google Analytics also include traffic to my forum in the report or not?

Yes, if you have added the same GA script to the sub-domain pages.
