Sounds dodgy to me.

I noticed as of today, there were 1797 referrals to one of our sites from that url.

Ideas anyone?

If you go to the sites root/home page, I think you'll get the idea - the link from there should easily spell it out.

Could just be referrer spam, or MFA.

You could always ban by referrer via .htaccess

I have many hits form that site in my logs as well.

Based on what I'm seeing [ameritherm.com] in the last month...

...I've decided that this is an evil referrer.

Right now, their homepage is disabled 'due to user abuse...'! That's a hoot!

Does anyone understand what's going on here?
