I dont know if this redirects is causing a loss in traffic. But after my traffic drops at about 50%, I am seeing this 301 and 302 with very high "Hits." Is there a way to find out what causes this? How can I resolve it?

You would need to look at your raw log files to see what pages originate these redirects and where they lead to. A 302 could be a redirect from non-www >> www, only your logs will tell.
