Over the last few years we have noticed a significant shift from daytime puchasing activity into evening purchasing.

Traffic remains strong in the daytime , but the conversion rates are just not there. So we're stumped as for the reasons. Some folks offered these suggestions , but i'm not convinced :

-Less time available at work to complete bookings
-Security issues on purchasing at work
-Corporate securty preventing employees to surf the web ( but i can't see this as traffic is OK )

Has anyone seen such patterns and does anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this ?

We've noticed this too, i find it to be a seasonal thing, especially if you're north/east coast based.

When summer beacons the last thing people want to see is a computer screen for the first few weeks. They want to be out there , in the sun and when they've soaked it all up for the day, Come back home sit on the couch open the laptop and surf...

It usually normalizes again in a few weeks, when it starts getting hotter and bright novelty of it all wears off....
