Best option to track click numbers?

We are selling year long ad packages, and need to report quarterly on how many clicks we send them. These are straight text links, so are not being served like banners.

I have used hypertracker in the past, but was looking for something a little better.

Can this quickly and easily be done with google analytics?

what other tools might be good?

For other options I believe you can set up text link ads with OpenX. I only used it for image based advertising so I am not 100% certain. The added bonus is you can automatically have reports to be emailed to your clients automatically every quarter.
