"+" Plus signs between keywords in Google Analytics?

Does anyone know the meaning of the plus signs that show up between some keywords? For example, on the "keyword considerations" screen I am seeing this type of thing:

word1 word2 2,000 visits
word1+word2 1,000 visitis

What is the difference, in how someone performed a search, between the two?

It looks like Google Analytics changed something during the last week of February.

I have noticed the same thing in my reports, and it looks like it only started happening in late february.

Now, all my recent multi-word search phrases are with + symbol between words.

i get this on my search results, usually 1 hit each day:

website+stats+package

these words are nowhere on my site, theres no way people can find my site using that search. i guess sumthin must be wrong with google analytics.
