I have a site for a client that redirects parked and non SSL requests to [....] Client insists the site run under SSL.

I cannot gather any referring stats because Google, and the other search engines list the site as [www....] When someone clicks on a link, the are redirected to [,...] thus I loose the referring site in my stats.

Can anyone offer a possible work-around solution or just a different scenario all together?

I have seen googlbot on the server logs, but for some reason, Google always lists the site as [....] If I could Google and the other search engines to list https:// half the battle would be won.

How exactly are you doing the 30x redirect?
