Can an Advertiser Figure Out Your Keywords Using Google Analytics?

Hi Everyone,

I'm curious if anyone knows if an Advertiser (affiliate program context) can figure out what keywords a user used to come to your site (either via google serps or google adwords) then to theirs?

user path:
1. user types in "widget abc" on google
2. user sees your site on google (either serp or sponsored ads)
3. clicks on your site
4. then they read your review
5. user then clicks through to your advertiser's website via affiliate links (which was meta refresh redirected, to mask keywords or referral url)

And since your advertiser uses google analytics, will they see the keywords they typed in step 1.?

thanks!

In short... No (unless tricked).

There would be ways to do this, but typically, the affiliate site would need to help the advertiser to get this information.
