Google analytics - is Direct traffic overriding search traffic?

Short question that bothers me...

Hi,

I know that Direct traffic doesn't override PPC traffic.

Let's face the following issue:

A user searches for Widgets then enters a site.

Then, user closes his browser, opens it again, and typing in the URL of the same website directly.

Will Google show the second visit as Direct, or will it refer to a cookie on the user's computer and show the traffic as keyword search traffic?

Thanks a lot!

I believe that GA does not support click attribution beyond the last click - so the last click in your example will show as a direct entry.

I have noticed that PPC clicks get the credit if the visitor returns from Direct traffic.

when user click on first time that will be referring visit and second time user will be direct visit with returning visitor.
