Changing ECommerce tracking for a new analytics account

I manage an ecommerce site which needed to have a new google analytics account set up because the previous analytics account wasn't set up properly. we set up the new account and turned it on and the traffic is showing up in the new account. fine. but the ecommerce data is still coming through the old account.

we changed the UA number in the ecommerce code to the new analytics account UA, and i turned on ecommerce tracking in the new account, but the ecommerce data is still coming through in the old account.

what else is there to do?

thanks.

Did you verify with meta tag on new google analytics?
I'm not sure but maybe google uses verification and not ONLY UA number.

actually, we have 2 meta verify lines in there. that may be the problem. we'll see if that fixes it.

just delete your old verification meta or file from server and verify the new verification which you install.

the old meta verify is gone and the problem still exists.

"verify the new verification which you install"

pardon my ignorance, but, its not a new site.. its just a new analytics account. the site is verified.

Carl -I've seen this on receipt pages where most developers might not regularly visit. It's harder to test but you'll need to see the source code on the receipt page. My suspicion is that the e-commerce code that typically appears mid-page unlike the rest of the site where it's in the head or footer is called in the middle of the page. If you can post the link or share it with me I can try to help you figure it out.
