Measuring multi-visit conversions

I use Google Analytics for measuring the success of my website. At the moment I can only measure the last action as being the cause of any conversions. How can I extend GA to record all of the actions that a customer made in order to convert on my site.

Any good resources would be appreciated. I believe that I can use parameters but don't know how to do that.

Yes, attribution during the buying journey is crucially important to really understand what brought visitors to your site originally.

Unfortunately, I am so used to using one of the many analytics systems that do this pretty automatically I am a bit spoilt!

Hopefully, by bumping this, someone more experienced with GA can help you out.

That kind of tracking costs money. Google has not added that feature yet.
