Im finding odd "numeric only" search phrases listed in my AWStats reports.

When checking my AWStats reports, nested in among all the normal keyphrase listings are a bunch of purely numeric ones like listed below.

____Keyphrases used on search engines___

2845350569700 17%
2845197318300 14%
2845199407124 5%
2845171654210 3
2845255032393 1

Anyone have any idea which search engine is doing this? What they are/represent? I don't see them listed in the raw logs, yet they appear in the canned AWStats reports for "Keyphrases used on search engines"

Ive spent some time looking around for answers to this but have found nada. My best guess is that it isn't really a search engine, but something else. Anyone else see them in their logs?

Thanks
D

Open the actual log file and find a line that has one of those numbers. Post the entire line here so we can see what it is.

That is what's strange, those numbers are not in the raw log files anywhere, just in the AWStats reports. Ive greped a few months worth of raw logs and can't find them. So I was wondering if it might just be an AWStats anomaly? ....or if anyone else has seen them.

OK, I think I have it gummed out a bit. It appears to be when a visitor arrives via the MSN SE cached version of a particular page.

For some reason AWStats is combining a couple of separate SE querystring parameters into one long number in it's reports.
