A partner relationship seemed to be generating no traffic, at least as measured by GA. This was surprising, as the parter site is fairly busy. Further investigation showed that the inbound links were on https: pages, which won't pass referrer info to an http: server.
Is the solution to measure this traffic to recode the GA javascript with https? And would this negatively impact anything else?

I thought that the ga.js code could cope with that?
