Entry Keywords for a Page through WebTrends

Hi All,

Please any one can let me know how can we get entry keywords for a particular page through WebTrends. I can get Search Phrase or Search Keywords for the whole site through Webtrends. But if i want to look at the Keywords and traffic through them for a particular page than there is no particular report for that. Should I have to create a custom report for that? what will be the procedure for the same?

I think what you want is to create a filter for a particular Entry Page. In WebTrends you have a choice of doing filters for an entire profile (a big collection of reports) or just for one specific custom report. Either way might give you what you want. If you do it for a custom report, then you can have the report be about the pages seen during the visit, or the content groups, or just about anything you want as a dimension --- or two nested dimensions, or even a drilldown of a lot of dimensions.

Does that help? For a custom report filter like this, make the filter (choose Visit filter as the type, not Hit filter), base it on Entry Page (from the dropdown of lots of choices), specify which entry page (or entry page + specific query parameters), then save it. Create your custom report afterwards. Choose a dimension, then choose a filter. Your new filter will appear on your list of filter choices. You'll have a choice of making it an Include or an Exclude filter; choose Include.

For a profile-level filter, it's basically the same thing, except you create a new profile then choose your new filter.

Profile and custom filters are created in different places. Profile filters are created under Options (choose Visit Filter), and custom filters are created in the Custom Reports area. Both are in the left panel in the admin screen.
