Google Analytics e-Commerce problem

I am trying to track goals for an e-commerce site (ex: domain.com)
The entire checkout process goes to [secure.some-other-domain.com...]
All the pages (domain.com and secure.some-other-domain.com) have tracking code installed.
All the goals are tracked BUT it shows all the sales are from direct traffic only.
1. Domain.com stats show the traffic from se's, direct, referrer urls, etc... - so this part by itself is good.
2. secure.some-other-domain.com - also shows goals, funnels - this part by itself is good.
The problem is that all the goals (sales) show that they come ONLY from "Direct".
What can I do to create connection between the two.

It looks like you are not properly passing the cookie between the two different domains. You need to call the following functions:

_setDomainName("none");
_setAllowLinker(enable);
_setAllowHash("false");

Then each cross site link would need to be tagged with _link();

onclick="javascript:firstTracker._link(this.href); return false;"

Ideally, you should use WebTrends with custom parameters in this scenario to track the visitors from source. Visitor History is very helpful here. GA is NOT the best product in this case.
