I have a domain that 301 redirects to another site. I thought that AWstats would record visitors coming to that first domain, but it seems that stats are not recorded.
What is the best way to record stats to the domain that is a 301, without slowing down the redirect process?

I should note that the redirect has been set up in Cpanel under the Redirects menu.
