measure 301 source traffic

Hi

I have several domains 301 redirecting to one site. Is there a way to measure which domain is typed originally by the visitor?

I use statcounter which just shows the destination page as the entry page.

I was thinking simply creating several index pages and linking each 301 to a specific index...eg. index1, index2,.. But I'm sure that'd be seen as spam so it's probably not a good idea.

Sorry, you're out of luck here ... a 301 redirect will prevent subsequent requests being made to your server. If you want to check such activity you should have gone with a 302
