Tracking a specific outclick

Want to see how many click on 'Share on Facebook' link

Hi all

I have this new 'Share on Facebook' and 'Share on Twitter' link below each of my blog posts. And I am looking to track the number of people clicking these links to Facebook with Google Analytics.

I am not sure if this is done with site overlay, but when I used it, it simply opened up my site page. Can someone help me with how to achieve this particular requirement.

send those clicks through a redirect page and put a GA tag on it.

anand84, you can do this by adding the onclick code within the link on the page, here is Google's instructions on it:
