Does Google Analytics log hits from Facebook Ad ?

Hi Guys

I have a small website that gets only a few hits each day.

I have been running some Facebook ads and get at least 6 hits every day.

I have just started up Google Analyitics, yet it shows a very low click rate which makes me think that it is not reporting clicks from Facebook ads ?

What do you think ?

Do the Facebook ads produce a new browser window when clicked on? If so, IE visits will reach your site without any referrer information.

If you have just started using Google Analytics, I strongly suggest that you go through their tutorials and help area to get familiar with all the pitfalls. It won't take long. Google Analytics (or any analytics program) is not magical and you'll be a lot more productive if you invest in this extra work, at least to the point of understanding where the data comes from and what affects it. Google Analytics has especially good and clear educational content.
