We operate a quote system for a number of web sites, and we want to be able to track our quote journey through analytics. The quote journey for all sites runs on the same URL, using a unique identifier to determine which branding to show.

We have installed analytics code on this site for two of the brands, because of the way the UID works this means that there is only ever one analytics code available, however if the URL is entered without a UID there is a 404 page which doesn't contain the analytics code for any profile.

The problem I am having is that I can't seem to get analytics to verify the code is installed for either profile. If I enter in the URL with the UID as the site address it just freezes saying waiting for data, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get Google to verify the code and start tracking

(The clients refuse to add the code to their pages)
