GA profiles under same domain

I have a few profiles under one domain however its not working the way it should. I was told I would be able to retrieve analytical on a specific section w/o having to search for it.

For example, the domain is #*$!.com and under the same tracking code I have profiles for the entire site, products, careers, etc. The products and careers section URL is change in the profile so it is www.#*$!.com/products.

My assumption was that when I open the products profile I woudl only see data for www.#*$!.com/products and not the entire site. But I see the entire site data.

Did you create a filter where you select "include traffic only to a subdirectory" and type that subdirectory in the subdirectory box?

An example would be ^/orlando/homes/

This will track example.com/orlando/homes/ and all it's subpages.
