Bot from mozilla.org?

Just came across the following bot in my logs:

"Mozilla/4.0 (Mozilla; http://www.mozilla.org/docs/en/bot.html; [e-mail])"

The hits come from a range of addresses which trace back to an IP block belonging. "Level 3 Communications, Inc.", based in Colorado (USA).

The URL listed leads to a 404 page. Is anyone aware that the Mozilla project is building a search engine? I'm guessing this is a fake UA and will blacklist it until proven otherwise.

In case anyone's interested, the only references to any kind of bot on the mozilla.org site all refer to some kind of IRC chatbot.

Whatever, it was a good reason to finally modify my site code so it can dynamically block entire IP ranges.
