Does anyone know how to fill out an Omniture SAINT form? I have a client who wants to use Omniture to track their online marketing campaigns. They are asking that we fill out a SAINT form but I'm not sure how to do this for Paid Search.

They are very straight forward. Have them email you the template (they download it from Omniture's tool -SiteCatalyst). In essence, it is a tab delimited file that has each attribute in a column. Think of it as attributing the marketing id/code.

Hi Guys!

I am having the same problem with the SAINT files and I'm close to tears. If you could send me a template for Paid Keywords it would be very much appreciated. I have Site Catalyst reporting on the amount of traffic from paid searches as well as the keyword but I need to upload a SAINT file so that it can tell me costs of referrals.

Hi Jon/JWCD --

Hopefully I can add a bit of clarity to the issues you're having with SAINT.

The path to find SAINT in SiteCatalyst is the following: Admin Console/SAINT Classifications/Import File tab (as a baseline, if you haven’t downloaded the classifications template, you’ll need to do that before you can upload anything. You can find this template just one tab over under the name “Download Template”). Once there, you will need to specify the data set to be classified in the dropdown menu – the selection “Search Keywords – Paid” should be used in this case. After it is submitted, you will need to wait for the SAINT file to be processed – usually takes no longer than 72 hours, but this depends on the size of the file. Guidelines for SAINT uploads can be found within the Knowledge Base in SiteCatalyst and should be strictly adhered to.

As an additional reference, I’d recommend downloading the SAINT User Manual or the Campaign Management white paper from the Knowledge Base. Both should be helpful.
