Google Analytics Site Overlay broken - Google Support confirms.

For several of my Google Analytics accounts, I try to access Site Overlay and it goes to the Web page and a "milky white overlay" goes over the page and it hangs. No site overlay data ever is presented on the page.
I contacted Google Support and they confirmed this is a problem some people are having and that they are working on it.
They said for some people clearing browser cache and cookies solved the problem (not for me).

Yeah, I stopped using site overlay a long time ago. It kept crashing FireFox. Real good crashes too.

Thats interesting, Ive the same problem and couldnt for the life of me work out what the problem was.

If you are using firefox, I found that I had to enable third party cookies. Go to Tools > Options > Privacy.

It works fine on IE, I guess as have not faced any issues except that its a bit too slow.
