Omniture losing data?

Is anyone else comparing their omniture data to other sources?

Hi,

Last year, this post was created:
[webmasterworld.com...]

I am curious if the problem was ever identified; fixed, resolution, etc?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I am experiencing the same.

Thanks

Did you see the recent Forbes magazine article? It is quite widespread. Funnily, after all the Forbes and other publicity, the situation started to improve. From what I've heard, it's not completely repaired yet.

Check search.twitter.com on "omniture" for quite a few references.

Yes, I saw that and actually received an email from Omniture; the same email that was pasted in the thread. However, our problem goes way before December; this December snafu just added salt to the wound.

I am starting to think that there is no resolution; other than internal teams finger pointing. <sigh>

I think <sigh> is a pretty good summing up.

Final word: Interesting timing on a press release just now out of WebTrends, about NOT losing or slowing reporting for Reuters, NYTimes, Internet Broadcasting during the US elections, and China CCTV during the Olympics. I can see the smirks from here ...

Amazing isn't it; no, not really. ;)
